OUT OF THE WEST SEATTLE OFFICE///SPECIAL CORRESPONDANT SR. DAVIDSON
RODENT WATCH 2015: 1:35PM:
Broadway Farmers Market- Man in soiled white tee shirt grips a soiled white ferret around its ribs and under its armpits. The body of the ferret is limply swaying as the man gesticulates to punctuate a joke which employs a sexual innuendo. Every other HUMAN within sensory range cringes and scoots away from the two of them. In researching whether this report is relevant to RODENT WATCH, this reporter was lead to a publication entitled ALL ABOUT FERRETS AND RATS: A COMPLETE HISTORY OF FERRETS, RATS, AND RAT EXTERMINATION FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AND STUDY by Adolph Isaacsen. Based on this source we can report that ferrets have been trained to chase and kill rodents, which begs this question: "Is this man dangling this long bodied ferret, perhaps as a gesture to a rat king that has bested (this) ferret who sought to exterminate him?"
